Not one connector on our cars are weather-pak style connectors, where there is a rubber gasket/o-ring that seals the environment from the bare connector metal.Here's an example... notice all the rubber gaskets on the wire end and the connector ends...
 You're best and least expensive bet is to ensure the connectors are as clean and corrode free as possible, then assemble the with retarded amounts of dielectric grease. This will provide moderate protection for several years. For a lifetime of corrosion free connectors, assemble with RTV sealant. But, this acts as a bonding agent and may leave your connectors non servicable.
